Our client is currently looking to recruit an Installations Engineer on a permanent basis. We are looking for a hands-on and motivated Installations Engineer to support the installation and delivery of engineering solutions across customer sites throughout the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing engineering business working on high-profile projects within fast-paced warehousing and distribution environments.
The Role
As an Installations Engineer, you will be involved in the assembly, installation, and support of mechanical and electrical systems across a variety of customer sites. Key responsibilities include:
- Installing and assembling mechanical and electrical equipment
- Supporting commissioning and testing activities
- Working safely in line with Health & Safety procedures and Risk Assessments
- Communicating effectively with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Completing job sheets and quality documentation accurately
- Supporting servicing, breakdowns, and site-based engineering activities
- Assisting with continuous improvement and project delivery activities
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- A time-served apprenticeship or ONC/HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- A full, clean UK driving licence
- Flexibility to travel and stay away from home when required
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
