The predicted salary is between 45000 - 55000 £ per year.
We are recruiting for a Procurement Manager to lead high-value procurement programmes, shape procurement strategy, and deliver innovative commercial solutions that achieve outstanding value for money across the Housing Category. Initial 3 month contract but likely to extend. Hybrid based with the office in Brighton - Flexible on number of office days.
Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will lead complex tendering and commercial projects, provide expert advice to senior stakeholders, develop procurement policy, and ensure compliance with procurement legislation.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- A degree or equivalent professional qualification (ideally CIPS Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience.
- Significant experience leading complex public or private sector procurement projects.
- Strong knowledge of procurement legislation, including PCR 2015 and the Procurement Act 2023.
- Excellent commercial, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leading teams, managing budgets and driving continuous improvement.
- Experience leading housing related procurement projects.
