Our client is currently looking to recruit a Head of Strategic Asset Management working within the Growth & Regeneration Directorate. Avon - Hybrid. £700 per day inside IR35.

We’re looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Head of Strategic Asset Management to join our Housing and Landlord Services leadership team. This is a critical leadership opportunity to shape the future of our housing stock and wider asset portfolio—delivering long-term investment, safety, and innovation for our communities.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading our Asset Management, Building Safety, and Energy & Renewables teams
- Driving delivery of our Asset Management Strategy and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory standards
- Overseeing the 30-year Housing Revenue Account Business Plan
- Embedding a strategic approach to asset risk, reinvestment, and regeneration
- Delivering resident-led service improvements and preparing for regulatory inspection
- Championing sustainable housing and innovative energy solutions
What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified property/asset management professional—or equivalent leadership experience
- Proven expertise in strategic planning, asset performance, and building safety compliance
- A strong communicator and stakeholder manager, able to engage at all levels
- Experience managing large teams and leading change
- Data-driven, collaborative, and focused on delivering real value for residents
