We are currently seeking x4 Trainers to work as part of a transformational training programme that is modernising training in the Royal Navy. We are seeking applicants who either have experience in Training, Tutoring or Instructing or are now looking to move away from industry-based roles so they can teach the next generation.
We are looking for Trainers in the following areas:
- Electrical Engineering - Deliver training in Electrical Machines (DC Motors/Generators, AC Motors/Generators) and Three Phase AC system
- Sonar - Deliver training in the maintenance of Sonar Systems
- Navigation - Deliver training in Naval Navigation and positional data
- Mechanical Engineering - Deliver training in machine shop based activities such as fitting, grinding, milling and turning.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the above areas at an industry level and also hold industry training and certifications in their area of expertise. It would be advantageous to have classroom experience in teaching technical subjects in an adult education environment and with at least a Level 4 teaching qualification, but this is not essential. Candidates must also be eligible to hold SC Security Clearance.
