Electronics Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an Electronics Engineer for a busy and expanding manufacturing business based in Nottingham.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for:

1. Designing and supporting the manufacture of electronics that are integral to the function and performance of its products including printed circuit board design, firmware development and validation; integration with controllers, instrumentation, drives, etc.
2. Producing and maintaining technical documentation, updates to drawings, bill of materials, manufacturing drawings, PCB manufacturing files, etc.
3. Providing technical support for on-site manufacturing and testing to quickly resolve issues and keep production on track to meet customer delivery dates.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

1. Degree in Electronics or Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
2. Experience in Analogue and Digital electronic design.
3. Schematic Capture and PCB Design.
4. Understanding of PCB assembly and manufacturing processes.
5. Ability to build, test & debug prototypes.
6. Experience with PIC microcontrollers & SoC devices.
7. Knowledge and experience of C programming.

The salary on offer is approximately GBP 35,000 – GBP 45,000 plus annual bonus, generous annual leave entitlement, private pension, free parking, and many more benefits.
