We are seeking an experienced and strategic senior leader to join our Housing leadership team on an interim contract. This is a high-profile role responsible for leading the housing property, investment and asset services, ensuring residents live in safe, compliant, high-quality and energy-efficient homes.
You will provide strategic leadership across repairs, planned maintenance, asset management, capital investment, building safety, compliance and new build delivery. Leading the Housing Revenue Account (HRA) capital programme, you will drive a data-led approach to asset management, deliver value for money, strengthen regulatory compliance and improve resident outcomes.
Working closely with senior leaders, elected members, contractors and partners, you will lead major transformation programmes, oversee significant budgets and ensure housing assets are managed sustainably to maximise financial, environmental and social value.
We're looking for someone with:
- Significant senior leadership experience in housing property, asset management, development or a similarly complex environment.
- Extensive knowledge of housing, building safety, compliance and construction legislation.
- A proven track record of delivering large-scale capital investment programmes, asset strategies and regulatory compliance.
- Strong financial, commercial and programme leadership skills, including HRA capital planning and budget management.
- The ability to lead high-performing teams, drive service transformation and build trusted relationships with residents, partners and stakeholders.
