We are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector on a temporary to permanent basis. Working as part of the shop floor team you will carry out tasks within the quality assurance guidelines to ensure products are manufactured to customer specifications and requirements, raising any issues to Production and Quality Management. Please note support and guidance will be available to you as you adapt and develop to their specific system/procedures.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Previous quality assurance / quality inspection experience as part of your role
- Ideally past experience with measuring equipment, verniers, etc
- Ability to read / work from engineering drawings and customer specifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Team player
- Ability to learn
- Able to handle and move parts
Benefits:
- £13 - 14 per hour (£26,364 - £28,392) dependant on experience
- 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Mon – Thurs 7am - 3:30pm and Friday 7am to 2pm
- Opportunity for overtime during busy periods
- 21 Days Holiday per year + 8 UK Bank Holidays
