We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Manager / Procurement Manager on a short term 2 month initial contract to delivery a procurement proposal for a large higher education provider based in London.
The clients current Utilities / Energy Contract is due to renewal and the proposal will focus on proposing the market options available moving forward including detailing risks, potentials savings and whether these will allow them to achieve their sustainable goals.
The ideal candidates must have a solid background in procurement / commercial management at a senior level with excellent strategy and analysis skills as well as a solid understanding of the UK energy market. You must have past experience managing the energy category as part of your procurement role in a large organisation.
Due to timescales candidates must be available immediately. There is also potential for extension depending on the success of the proposal.
The role will mainly be remote based but may require 2-4 trips to the office during the contract.
Day Rate: Approx £500 per day via a umbrella company however we are happy to consider exceptional candidates at higher day rates.
