Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Procurement Specialist on a permanent basis for an expanding business.

Within this role you will provide expert procurement support and advice to public sector customers across the UK allowing them access to a dynamic market of 4000+ pre-approved suppliers across a wide range of categories.

\n

\n

Your role will involve the following:

\n

    \n
  • Support end to end sourcing and procurement activity
  • \n

  • Engage and build relationships with customers and suppliers
  • \n

  • Support with the creation of Statement of Works
  • \n

  • Montior procurement activities
  • \n

  • Produce data and management information for service reviews and to quantify outcomes
  • \n

  • Mentor junior team members
  • \n

  • Support with improvements
  • \n

\n

\n

The ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills and attributes

\n

    \n
  • Hold a degree level qualification
  • \n

  • Qualified in CIPS or working toward would be highly advantageous but not essential
  • \n

  • Procurement experience
  • \n

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • \n

  • Highly organised
  • \n

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and good at building relationships
  • \n

  • Ability to work at pace and in a every changing environment
  • \n

  • Solutions focused
  • \n
