Contracts Manager (Research & Innovation)
Central London - Hybrid
£55 per hour inside IR35
We're looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a Research & Innovation team supporting world-leading research and collaborative partnerships.
In this role, you'll negotiate and manage a diverse portfolio of research-related agreements, including funding, collaboration, confidentiality, data sharing, material transfer and studentship agreements. You'll work closely with academics, researchers and external partners, providing commercially focused advice while helping to protect intellectual property and manage contractual risk.
We're looking for someone with:
- A law degree (or equivalent) or relevant legal qualification
- Experience drafting and negotiating research contracts or complex legal agreements
- Strong knowledge of intellectual property, confidentiality, liability, data protection and other key contractual issues
- Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to manage a varied workload and build effective working relationships
Experience in higher education, research or innovation is desirable.
