The predicted salary is between 48000 - 72000 £ per year.
We are currently recruiting for a Head of Highways Maintenance on a 6 month initial contract to provide operational leadership, development and management ensuring the highest quality services are delivered within resources available.
The role will be fully responsible and accountable for the delivery of all Highways Maintenance services including:
- Carriageways
- Footways and Cycleways
- Green Infrastructure
- Drainage and Resilience
- Structures
- Customer Engagement for Highways
You will be responsible for operational leadership, performance management, partnership management, resource management and financial management.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading the delivery of highway maintenance including some of the above areas. You will also ideally be qualified in a Civil Engineering or Programme Management discipline and ideally hold a relevant professional discipline i.e. ICE, IHE, CIHT, IAM, CMI, APM.
This role will be hybrid based working 2-3 days in the office.
Day Rate: £600 per day (umbrella) and this can be negotiable for the right candidate.
