Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for environmental enforcement? We are seeking an Environmental Enforcement Manager on a 6 month initial contract to provide strategic leadership, direction, and operational management for the Environmental Enforcement Team. This role is crucial in ensuring high-performance service delivery, tackling environmental crime and nuisance, and maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant environment for residents and businesses.
You will oversee frontline enforcement officers, manage investigations, and drive continuous improvement in enforcement strategies. The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Proven leadership experience in environmental enforcement or regulatory services.
- Strong knowledge of environmental crime legislation and enforcement protocols.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working across departments and external agencies.
- Ability to manage investigations, prepare legal documentation, and oversee court proceedings.
