We are currently recruiting for a Contract Manager / Commercial Manager on a permanent basis. Within this role you will be responsible for providing contract and commercial support across sales, projects and maintenance to help the business achieve its strategic objectives. This will include reviewing, negotiating and drafting the terms and conditions of projects and maintenance agreements, providing expert input into commercial risk evaluations, as you support new projects and active maintenance agreements. You will also support with bids, tenders and estimates as well as resolving commercial issues, liaising with client representatives and third parties.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Hold a Degree, Higher National Diploma or equivalent in a subject such as Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction management, Business Management, Contract Management, Quantity surveying, etc.
- Construction Contract Management with experience in some of the following: NEC, MF1, Fidic, IChemE and JCT.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating the terms of business contracts.
- Preparing or assisting in the preparation of commercial bids during the tendering process.
- Good commercial understanding and business awareness.
This role will be hybrid based from the Stockport office.
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (negotiable) plus benefits.
