Our client is currently looking to recruit a Project Surveyor on an initial 1 year contract
Project Surveyor β Housing
Bristol - Hybrid
Β£300 - Β£325 per day umbrella
We are looking for an experienced Project Surveyor to lead the delivery of a major window replacement and housing improvement programme.
This is a hybrid role, with at least one day per week office-based, site visits as required, and homeworking for the remainder.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage window replacement projects from survey and specification through to completion.
- Undertake property inspections, condition surveys and defect diagnosis.
- Manage contractors, programmes, budgets, quality and performance.
- Administer JCT contracts, including valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, CDM, Health & Safety, Building Safety Act 2022, Social Housing (Regulation) Act 2023, HHSRS and Consumer Standards.
- Oversee site safety, quality assurance and required H&S documentation.
- Manage customer consultation and maintain clear communication with residents.
- Monitor expenditure and ensure value for money.
- Maintain accurate project and asset records.
- Promote energy efficiency, sustainability and continuous improvement.
About You
You will have experience in building surveying, construction, housing refurbishment, planned maintenance or project management, with strong knowledge of construction and contract administration.
Experience of JCT contracts, CDM, Health & Safety and social housing would be highly desirable. You will also need excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
Essential Requirement
You must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle insured for business use, as travel across the area will be required.
