Duty Manager Sports Centre (Derbyshire)

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Sports Centre, ensuring safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service
- Act as the main point of contact during shifts, managing customer feedback and any issues
- Ensure pool operations and water testing meet HSG179 standards, including backwashing and record-keeping
- Support the Sports Centre Operations Manager and work collaboratively with fellow Duty Managers
- Conduct daily H&S checks (including plant room and building checks) and maintain safe working practices
- Lead on the investigation and reporting of incidents or accidents, ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures
- NPLQ certified with solid swimming/poolside experience
- Background in team leadership or a senior leisure role
- Strong operational knowledge, particularly around H&S and pool plant procedures
- DBS Enhanced or willingness to obtain
- Able to work a 3-week rota including early, late, and occasional weekend shifts
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Fortnightly pay
- Use of the facility outside of work hours
- Supportive team environment both on-site and through the 4Leisure agency
