An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Sales Manager to join a well-established golf club in the Bristol area. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a proactive sales professional who thrives on building relationships, driving revenue, and leading from the front.

The Role

  • Lead and develop a small sales team while personally generating new business across memberships, corporate golf days, events, and society bookings.
  • Act as an ambassador for the club, actively promoting its facilities within the local business and community network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate and develop two Sales Executives, setting clear targets and KPIs.
  • Proactively generate new business through networking, outreach and relationship building.
  • Drive membership growth and increase corporate, event and society revenue.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing members and partners.
  • Represent the club at networking events, exhibitions and local business forums.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and deliver effective sales strategies.
  • Monitor performance, track sales activity and forecast revenue.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer journey from enquiry to conversion.

About You

  • Proven experience in a Sales Manager or senior sales role (hospitality, leisure, golf or events experience advantageous).
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring a team.
  • Confident networker with excellent communication and relationship-building ability.
  • Commercially minded and target-driven.
  • Professional, personable and service-focused.
  • Flexible to attend occasional evening or weekend events when required.
