Ready to make a real impact? We’re recruiting for a Technical & Energy Manager to take full ownership of a large leisure facility, ensuring it operates safely, efficiently, and sustainably. This is a hands-on role where you’ll blend technical expertise with a strong focus on energy performance—driving efficiency, improving asset reliability, and reducing carbon impact within the site. This is a challenging and highly rewarding role that will cover aspects of maintenance, capex, project management and team development.

The Role

  • Ensure statutory and contractual compliance across the site
  • Lead energy management initiatives, using data to optimise consumption and reduce carbon emissions
  • Manage site assets, including maintenance planning, lifecycle management, and budgeting
  • Provide technical oversight of HVAC systems, BMS, and electro-mechanical plant
  • Support project delivery, contractor management, and technical improvements
  • Produce clear performance, compliance, and risk reports

About You

You’ll be a strong fit if you have:

  • A recognised trade qualification
  • Extensive experience in maintaining diverse commercial buildings
  • Solid knowledge of building services, compliance, and health & safety regulations
  • Experience in energy management, ideally within leisure or similar environments
  • Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems and BMS controls
  • Competence in reporting
  • Confidence to engage with on-site teams and external contractors
