The Royal Parks (TRP) manages over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. These are Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park, St James's Park, The Regent's Park and Primrose Hill, Greenwich Park, Richmond Park and Bushy Park. We also manage other important public spaces including Brompton Cemetery and Victoria Tower Gardens. Our eight Royal Parks and other iconic green spaces are among the most visited attractions in the UK with tens of millions of visits every year.
We are now looking for Lifeguards to join us with an immediate start date until 30th September 2026 working up to 40 hours at Hyde Park Boat House (Boating), The Regents Park (Boating), Greenwich Park (Boating), and Serpentine Lido (Swimming).

The Role
- Champion health and safety whilst providing bather and user supervision
- You will proactively ensure appropriate customer behaviour during use of the lido and boating services
- You will be required to undertake all day-to-day cleaning, maintenance and remedial work of relevant equipment and fittings to the highest possible standard
- You will work collaboratively as part of the venue operations team on a shift rota basis
- You will ensure the efficient and effective operation of the facility, whilst providing operational support in all areas
About You
- Excellent customer service
- The Open Water Lifeguard qualification or National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is accepted for this role; if you do not hold this qualification, do not worry, we can give you the training providing you have the relevant experience within a leisure/visitor-based environment. The course is over 3 days; if you hold an active NPLQ qualification, you can do a 1-day conversion course
