We are currently recruiting for an experienced General Manager to lead a busy leisure facility in West London. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and commercially minded individual with a strong background in leisure, fitness, hospitality, or multi-site operations. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the centre, ensuring exceptional customer service, strong financial performance, and high operational standards across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing management team and wider staff team
- Drive commercial performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction
- Oversee all operational aspects of the centre, ensuring smooth day-to-day delivery
- Manage budgets, financial planning, and performance reporting
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation and operational procedures
- Develop staffing, recruitment, training, and succession planning strategies
- Build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and the local community
- Maintain high standards of service delivery across all areas of the business
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and drive positive change within the operation
About You
- Significant management experience within the leisure, hospitality, or fitness sector
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and KPIs
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Strong understanding of health & safety compliance and operational best practice
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a hands-on management approach
- Passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences and leading successful teams
