We are seeking an experienced Head of Gym & Spa to lead the operational delivery of a premium fitness and wellness offering in London. This is a maternity cover position, ideal for a strong operational leader with a passion for service excellence, people development, and high standards. You will be responsible for ensuring exceptional day-to-day performance across gym and spa operations, driving consistency, quality, and commercial results while delivering an outstanding member and client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage gym and spa operations with a strong focus on operational excellence.
- Set, maintain, and continuously improve service standards across all sites.
- Develop, coach, and inspire management and frontline teams to perform at their best.
- Ensure exceptional service delivery aligned with brand, contractual, and client expectations.
- Oversee compliance with SLAs, health & safety, and operational policies.
- Act as a key point of contact for client management, building trusted and professional relationships.
- Monitor performance through KPIs, audits, and reporting, implementing improvements where required.
- Manage budgets, labour, and resources effectively to meet operational and commercial targets.
About You
- Proven experience in a senior operational role within gym, spa, or health club environments.
- Extensive multi-site management experience in residential or corporate health clubs.
- Demonstrable exposure to SLAs and client-facing contract management.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of team development and engagement.
- High attention to detail with a passion for standards, quality, and consistency.
- Confident, professional communicator able to work with internal and external stakeholders.
