4Leisure Recruitment is currently recruiting Duty Managers to work across leisure sites in West London on a zero-hour contract. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced leisure professionals looking for flexible work and the chance to be part of a dynamic, supportive team. We are looking for proactive and qualified individuals with a strong background in leisure operations, particularly in wet-side environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Open and close the facility, acting as the first point of contact during your shift
- Supervise and coordinate regular maintenance and cleaning of the site
- Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly pool plant operations, tasks, and checks
- Respond to health & safety incidents, accidents, and safeguarding concerns, ensuring all are reported through the management system
- Perform pool hygiene and safety checks to maintain high standards
- Deliver first-class customer service to all facility users
- Handle customer queries and complaints professionally and efficiently
Experience and Qualifications Required:
- First Aid at Work (essential)
- Pool Plant Operator (essential)
- National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) preferred, or willingness to obtain
- Experience managing leisure operations, ideally in a wet-side facility
- Proven supervisory experience in a leisure environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead, influence, and motivate a team
- Solid understanding of Health & Safety in operational settings, with the ability to implement procedures effectively
