4Leisure are currently looking for an experienced Duty Manager to join a busy leisure facility in South London. This is a temporary, full-time position with an immediate start.
Role Overview:
The Duty Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring a safe, efficient, and customer-focused environment. You will supervise staff, manage incidents, and uphold the highest standards in health and safety, cleanliness, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily operational management of the facility
- Supervision and support of front-line staff
- Ensuring smooth shift transitions and staff handovers
- Monitoring and maintaining site cleanliness and safety standards
- Managing incident reports and administering first aid when necessary
- Ensuring compliance with all operational procedures and industry regulations
- Valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)
- Enhanced DBS (must be current and in date)
- Previous experience as a Duty Manager in a leisure or similar environment
- Availability to work full-time, including early, middle, and late shifts, as well as weekends
- Ability to commit to the full contract duration through to September
- Pool Plant Operator (PPO) Certificate (preferred but not essential)
