A premium fitness and wellness operator is seeking an experienced Fitness & Personal Training Manager to oversee fitness operations across three established health club locations in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused fitness leader with strong personal training management experience, a passion for member engagement and the ability to lead high-performing teams across multiple sites.

The Role

As Fitness & Personal Training Manager, you will support the Head of Fitness in driving the performance of the personal training and group exercise departments across three clubs located in Clerkenwell, Mill Hill and Muswell Hill. You will play a key role in improving member experience, increasing PT revenue, supporting trainer development and ensuring high operational standards throughout the fitness offering. This is a multi-site management role requiring a proactive, hands-on and highly organised fitness professional.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop the personal training team across multiple sites
  • Drive PT revenue, retention and KPI performance
  • Support PT revenue growth and member retention targets
  • Recruit, onboard and mentor personal trainers
  • Monitor KPIs, trainer performance and client retention
  • Deliver excellent member engagement and service
  • Support group fitness performance and class standards
  • Monitor fitness operations, staffing and compliance
  • Analyse performance data and support commercial targets

Requirements

  • Level 3 Personal Training qualification essential
  • Minimum 2 years' experience managing fitness teams within a gym or health club
  • Strong leadership and coaching ability
  • Commercially driven with experience achieving sales targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Passionate about health, fitness and member wellbeing
