An exciting and rare opportunity is now available with a leading name in the fitness equipment market who are now looking to appoint a Regional Account Manager for the North of England. The ideal candidate must be well presented, professional and highly self-motivated. An individual who has energy, drive and a passion for the fitness and wellness industry is required. Working to monthly and annual targets, you will be responsible for the full sales cycle.
The Role:
- To ensure the monthly, quarterly & annual targets for the region are achieved and exceeded through the generation of new sales.
- To follow up leads generated and manage the sales process including gym design drawings, equipment recommendations, presentations, proposing, closing, project management & staff training where necessary.
- To manage the expectation & experience of existing customers to ensure repeat business.
- To pro-actively pursue new business avenues and generate own leads when necessary.
- To maintain the customer database and company key performance indicator system, ensuring the information is updated, accurate and available at all times.
- To represent the client at all relevant trade shows, conferences, seminars & corporate events when required.
- To attend all relevant monthly sales meetings and scheduled training courses provided.
- To manage the sales consultants within their region through appraisals and monitoring of their KPIs.
A background in the health and fitness industry is ideal, but you need to understand the marketplace and potential competitors. A proven sales history with B2B is desirable for this position.
Additional Skills required include:
- High level of literacy, numeracy & communication skills.
- Computer literacy & knowledge of main IT software.
- Confident presentation skills.
- Clean driving license.
