Our client, a leading operator of leisure facilities in the West London area is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Compliance Manager to provide expert health and safety support across the organization. This role will involve ensuring the highest standards of health and safety compliance, risk management, and legislative adherence, while collaborating with the Senior Leadership Team to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement the Health, Safety & Compliance Strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and incident investigations, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Provide expert advice and training to staff on health & safety policies and best practices.
- Establish and maintain up-to-date compliance documentation, audits, and safety reports.
- Manage health & safety performance and recommend improvements.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, external auditors, and stakeholders.
- Lead on Covid-19 compliance and contribute to diversity and inclusion efforts.
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent), and ideally an Education and Training Award.
- Proven experience in health and safety and compliance, ideally within leisure, hospitality, or entertainment sectors.
- Experience managing swimming pools.
- Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments, audits, and delivering training.
