We're recruiting Lifeguards and Pool Responders to work flexible shifts at health clubs and leisure facilities in Birmingham (B40). This is an ideal opportunity for qualified lifeguards looking for flexible hours, regular shifts and competitive pay.
The Role
This flexible Lifeguard / Pool Responder role combines poolside supervision and operational duties with front-of-house and customer service responsibilities.

- £14.50 per hour - inclusive of holiday pay
- Paid fortnightly
- Work at health clubs and leisure facilities
- Immediate starts available for suitably qualified candidates
Key Responsibilities
As a Lifeguard / Pool Responder, you will:
- Supervise the swimming pool and poolside area at all times
- Ensure pool users follow safety rules and procedures
- Respond to emergencies and carry out rescues and first aid when required
- Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming pool environment
- Carry out general poolside cleaning and operational duties
- Provide excellent customer service and communication
- Support front-of-house operations when required
- Maintain high standards of punctuality and professionalism
- Follow all relevant health and safety procedures
- Report any issues directly to the on-site manager
Requirements
To apply, you must hold a current:
- NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification)
- RLSS Pool Responder qualification
You should also have strong communication skills, a professional approach and the ability to provide excellent customer service.
