About the Role
4Leisure is currently recruiting for an experienced Leisure Duty Manager to join a busy leisure facility in Enfield, North London.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leisure professional looking for a flexible position within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. As Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the facility, supervising staff, managing incidents and ensuring consistently high standards of health and safety, cleanliness and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operational management of the leisure facility.
- Supervise, support and motivate front-line leisure staff.
- Ensure effective shift handovers and smooth transitions between teams.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and presentation across the site.
- Manage incidents effectively and complete accurate incident and accident reports.
- Administer first aid when required and respond appropriately to emergencies.
- Maintain compliance with relevant leisure industry regulations and standards.
- Provide excellent customer service and deal professionally with customer queries or concerns.
- Support the wider management team with the safe and efficient running of the facility.
Essential Requirements
- Valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
- Pool Plant Operator (PPO) qualification/certificate.
- Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
- Previous experience working as a Duty Manager, Leisure Duty Manager or in a similar leisure management role.
- Strong understanding of health and safety, pool safety and leisure facility operations.
- Excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills.
