Leisure Duty Manager - West Sussex
4Leisure are looking for experienced Duty Managers to join our temporary team, supporting leisure facilities in and around Burgess Hill and Haywards Heath.
This is a full-time temporary role, starting as soon as possible, with the opportunity for the role to potentially become permanent.
We're looking for someone who has previous Duty Manager experience in a leisure centre and is available to work a range of shifts.
Assignment Rate: £16 - £17 per hour, paid fortnightly.
Key Responsibilities
- Running the facility during your shift
- Managing and supporting the team
- Carrying out staff handovers
- Making sure health and safety standards are met
- Checking the cleanliness and general condition of the facility
- Dealing with incidents and completing reports
- Providing first aid when needed
- Supporting lifeguards and other staff
- Dealing with customer queries and any issues that come up
- Making sure procedures are followed
What We're Looking For
- National Pool Lifeguard Qualification NPLQ
- Pool Plant Operator (PPO) qualification
- Enhanced DBS, or happy to obtain one
- Previous Duty Manager or supervisory experience in a leisure environment
- Good communication skills
- Confident managing a team
- Good knowledge of health and safety
- Available for early, middle and late shifts
- Available to work weekends
