We are looking for an experienced Finance Systems Manager with deep, hands-on knowledge of Aderant to take ownership of our finance systems and play a key role in driving system improvements, efficiencies, and future-proofing our technology landscape.
This is a pivotal role for someone who enjoys optimising how systems are used in practice, working closely with finance and wider business stakeholders, and leading the journey from on-premise infrastructure to a cloud-based Azure environment.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the subject-matter expert for Aderant, owning configuration, optimisation, and ongoing improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve reporting, and drive efficiencies across finance systems
- Lead and support initiatives to transition Aderant and associated systems from on-prem to Azure cloud
- Partner with Finance, IT, and third-party vendors to deliver system enhancements and upgrades
- Ensure systems are robust, secure, well-documented, and aligned to business needs
- Support troubleshooting, issue resolution, and continuous improvement
- Contribute to system governance, best practice, and roadmap planning
- You’ll be a systems-focused finance professional or IT specialist who combines strong technical capability with an understanding of finance operations.
- Extensive, hands-on experience with Aderant (configuration, support, optimisation)
- Proven experience improving finance systems and driving efficiencies
- Strong understanding of finance processes within a professional services or legal environment
- Confident stakeholder management and ability to translate technical detail into business value
- Experience of system upgrades or major transformation programmes
- Knowledge of integrations, reporting tools, or adjacent finance applications
- Experience working with or migrating systems to Azure / cloud environments
- Background in law firms or professional services
