Are you an organised administrator who enjoys bringing order to busy projects and wants to be part of some of the UK's most technically advanced construction programmes?
My client is a specialist design, construction and engineering contractor delivering complex projects across the data centre, defence and energy sectors.
These are high profile, technically challenging environments where quality, compliance and attention to detail are critical.
As the business continues to grow, they're looking for a
Technical & HSE Coordinator to become a key part of their Head Office team, supporting both the Technical and Health & Safety functions.
This isn't just another administration role.
You'll play an important part in keeping projects running smoothly, coordinating documentation, supporting compliance, organising training and events, and ensuring vital information is accurate and up to date.
The Opportunity
Working closely with the HSE and Technical Directors, you'll provide day to day support across a wide variety of activities, including:
- Supporting the administration of HSE systems, reporting and compliance.
- Coordinating training, meetings, CPD events and travel arrangements.
- Producing and maintaining monthly reports and management information.
- Managing technical documentation, consultant information and project records.
- Assisting with PQQ submissions and tender documentation.
- Supporting project handover documentation, ensuring everything is complete and delivered to the required standard.
- Updating internal management systems and workflows, including VISIO process maps.
- Working with multiple departments to ensure information is accurate, organised and delivered on time.
No two days will be the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and being at the centre of a busy, collaborative team.
- We're Looking for Someone Who Has
- Previous experience in an administration, coordination or project support role.
- Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, with confidence using Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Experience using VISIO would be advantageous.
- Construction industry experience would be beneficial but isn't essential if you have strong administration and coordination skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with colleagues across different departments.
- The ability to prioritise multiple tasks and manage competing deadlines.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
