Are you an experienced Fire & Security Engineer looking for a role where your work genuinely matters? This is an opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading independent fire and security companies—a family-run business with over 30 years of expertise, a strong reputation, and a real focus on supporting its engineers.

Why this role stands out

This isn’t like any of the other fire and security jobs out there. This is an investment in you and your future. You won’t just be another engineer on a job list, you’ll be part of a close-knit, supportive team where your contribution is valued, your development is prioritised, and your long-term progression is genuinely encouraged. If you’re looking for stability, variety, and a company that backs you, this is a role worth exploring.

The Role

This is a varied, hands-on position where no two days are the same. You’ll be working across installation, servicing, and maintenance of a wide range of systems, including:

  • Fire alarms and fire extinguishers
  • CCTV and intruder alarms
  • Access control systems

From small local jobs to larger commercial systems, you’ll play a key role in ensuring everything is installed, maintained, and operating to the highest standards. You’ll be covering the SN postcode area, keeping travel local and allowing for a better work-life balance.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in fire and/or security systems (servicing, maintenance, fault finding)
  • Knowledge of systems such as fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms, or access control
  • Ability to manage your own workload and work independently
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Full UK driving licence

What’s in it for you?

  • Company van, laptop, tablet, phone, and uniform
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays + birthday off
  • Private healthcare and pension
  • Ongoing training with direct access to a dedicated training centre
  • Clear progression opportunities across the business

The Opportunity

If you want a role where you can continue to grow, feel supported, and build a long-term career, not just move job to job, this is the move. You’ll be joining a company that combines the stability of an established name with the culture and care of a family-run business.
