A growing technology consultancy working across the Defence, Aerospace and Space sectors is looking for an Account Manager to join its expanding team in Swindon. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with Account Management, B2B Sales, Technical Sales or Business Development experience looking to develop their career within high growth engineering and technology sectors.
Working with innovative engineering and technology businesses, you'll play a key role in supporting client growth, generating new opportunities and building long term commercial relationships.
The RoleYou’ll manage client relationships, support business growth activity and identify new commercial opportunities across specialist engineering and technology markets. Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll support lead generation campaigns, market research, client engagement and strategic growth initiatives across Defence, Aerospace and advanced technology sectors. This is a hands on, client facing role with genuine progression opportunities within a growing consultancy business.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and grow client accounts
- Support business development and lead generation activity
- Conduct market, customer and competitor research
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities
- Maintain CRM records using HubSpot
- Support clients at industry events and exhibitions
- Build strong relationships with clients and industry partners
- Support strategic sales and campaign activity
- Produce commercial reporting and pipeline updates
- Experience in Account Management, B2B Sales, Technical Sales or Business Development
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- Experience using CRM systems
- Highly organised and commercially minded
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Interest in engineering, technology, defence or aerospace sectors
- Full right to work in the UK
- Experience within engineering, manufacturing, defence, aerospace, technical sales or technology consultancy environments would be advantageous.
- £28,000 - £32,000 salary depending on experience
