We are seeking a Management Consultant from an Architecture background who is ready to move beyond pure delivery into a role that combines technical leadership with shaping and influencing client work. This is not a traditional delivery role, but a unique blend of Architecture and helping to originate work. You will remain close to architecture but also play a key role in defining problems, shaping solutions, and contributing to the growth of client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Engagement & Commercial Accountability: Play an active role in shaping and winning work by identifying opportunities, structuring problems, and contributing to proposals and solution design. Commercial awareness and client influence are key, although this is not a quota-carrying role. You must be comfortable being visible externally, attending or contributing to events, and bringing contacts into conversations to help create opportunities earlier in the cycle.
- Technical Leadership: Design end-to-end architectures for digital products, platforms, and integration-heavy systems, including APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures. You will come from a strong Solution Architect background.
- Technical & Domain Expertise: Candidates should ideally have experience designing customer-facing applications, APIs, and integration-led systems, as this is not a platform or DevOps-only role. Required expertise includes: Solution Architecture, Integration and digital transformation, Distributed systems, including Microservices.
Why Join
- Work in small, high-calibre teams rather than large delivery structures.
- Visible, client-facing roles where you influence both technical direction and what work gets done.
- Exposure to shaping and influencing client engagements while staying close to architecture.
- Clear progression toward Director and Partner, with a strong commercial upside (base £140k+ plus bonus).
- Work on complex, real-world transformation programmes where architecture plays a central role.
