We are seeking a proactive Business Development Representative (BDR) with at least one year’s experience in a B2B corporate sales channel – ideally within IT, Tech, SaaS or telecoms – to join a forward‑thinking business delivering cloud, cybersecurity, AI/ML, IoT and collaboration solutions UK and globally.
- Develop expert knowledge of my client’s technology portfolio through training and collaboration with technical teams.
- Research target markets, build stakeholder maps and identify key decision‑makers.
- Creatively engage prospects across the phone, email, meetings and events.
- Tailor presentations and proposals to meet specific client needs.
- Work closely with Technical Presales, Account Executives and Marketing to move opportunities forward.
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date CRM records (Zoho One and further system training provided).
- Design and execute lead‑nurturing campaigns to convert prospects into customers.
- Produce regular sales activity and pipeline reports.
About You
- Currently working in a BD role with a minimum of one year’s experience in a B2B corporate sales channel (IT, Tech, SaaS or telecoms).
- Keen to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
- Driven and self‑motivated, able to work autonomously and meet targets.
- A collaborative team player who works well with Marketing and other internal global teams.
- Confident communicator by phone, email and face‑to‑face.
- Able to work in the Swindon office three days per week, with travel to UK client sites when required.
- Experienced in using CRMs and marketing tools; Zoho CRM experience would be an advantage, but training provided on all platforms and systems.
