The RoleAs Project Director, you will have full accountability for the successful delivery of complex construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
You will:
- Lead and inspire multi-disciplinary project teams, setting clear direction and high standards
- Take ownership of project strategy, planning, and execution from inception to completion
- Oversee procurement, cost control, and financial reporting to protect margins and manage risk
- Act as the senior interface with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders, building trusted, long-term relationships
- Champion best practice in health, safety, environmental compliance, and quality
- Proactively identify and manage programme, commercial, and delivery risks
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation across project teams
This opportunity will suit a senior construction professional with a strong track record delivering high-value, technically complex projects, ideally within data centres, mission-critical, or other highly regulated environments.
You will bring:
- A degree (or equivalent) in a construction-related discipline
- Membership of a recognised professional body (e.g. CIOB, RICS or similar)
- CSCS, SMSTS (5-day), and First Aid at Work certification
- Strong working knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts
- Proven experience managing large, complex design-and-build projects
- Excellent commercial acumen and financial awareness
- Confident leadership and the ability to influence at senior level
