This is an opportunity to take ownership of your own work, develop your client portfolio and play a key role in shaping developments across Dorset and the wider Wessex region. What you'll be doing as a Senior Town Planner No two days are the same. You'll be trusted to manage projects from the earliest planning stages through to completion, providing expert advice to clients and working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team. You'll be involved in: Advising clients on planning strategy and development opportunities Managing a wide variety of residential, agricultural and commercial planning applications Preparing Planning Statements and supporting documentation Leading projects and coordinating external consultants Managing planning conditions, appeals and planning obligations Building strong relationships with clients and becoming their trusted planning adviser We're looking for someone who Is a Chartered Member of the RTPI (MRTPI) Has proven experience within either private practice or the public sector Enjoys building relationships with clients and delivering excellent service Has strong knowledge of planning policy, the NPPF and Local Plans Can confidently manage their own workload while working collaboratively within a wider professional team If you already have around three years' post qualification experience, that's an advantage, but we're interested in speaking with experienced planners who are looking for the right opportunity as a Senior Town Planner What's on offer 60,000 depending on experience Performance related commission 30 days holiday including Bank Holidays, plus additional leave over Christmas Company pension Professional subscriptions and ongoing training fully supported Enhanced maternity pay Free eye tests and contribution towards glasses Regular company social and sporting events Genuine career progression within an established and growing business Office based in beautiful Sturminster Newton with flexibility to work from home occasionally #J-18808-Ljbffr
