About the role
We are seeking experienced Home Visit Pathology Collectors to service the Gold Coast. Part-time and casual positions are available.
Your main duties will include collecting blood and other specimens from patients, as well as performing 24-hour Blood Pressure and Holter monitoring.
Skills and experience
- Venipuncture experience with vacutainer method is essential
- Collection of blood and other samples from patients
- Experience with ABP and Holter monitors is preferred but not essential
- Processing pathology specimens
- Ability to work independently and participate in weekend rosters at our collection centres
- Clerical duties and paperwork processing
- Own car and a current driverβs license are required
- Good communication skills with team members, referring doctors, and patients
- Dedication to patient care and service delivery
- Organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and work under pressure
- Basic computer skills
- Compliance with Work Health and Safety regulations
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19
