We are looking for experienced Pathology Collectors for the Salamander Bay, NSW and surrounding areas. Part-time and Casual positions available.
Your primary duties will be to take blood and other specimens from patients, including performing diagnostic and specialised collection tests.
Responsibilities:- Perform venepuncture with vacutainer method.
- Collect blood and other samples from patients.
- Experience in ECGs and Holter monitors.
- Process pathology specimens.
- Work alone and participate in weekend roster at any of our collection centres.
- Perform clerical duties and process paperwork.
- Communicate with team, referring doctors and patients.
- Provide dedication to patient care and service delivery.
- Demonstrate organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Prioritise and work under pressure.
- Basic computer skills.
- Comply with Work Health and Safety.
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
- Venepuncture experience essential with vacutainer method.
- Own car and current driver licence required.
- Current Working With Children (WWC) check clearance required upon commencement of employment.
- Right to work in Australia.
