Main Responsibilities

  • Preparation of detailed bills of costs, cost schedules and cost estimates.
  • Review of opponents' points of dispute and preparation of replies.
  • Preparation of cost budgets.
  • Reviewing opponents' cost budgets, preparing BDRs, precedent Ts and entering into negotiations.
  • Potential to attend CCMC hearings.
  • Ensuring that the quality of work produced is to the highest standard.
  • Managing daily workloads and achieving service level agreements.
  • Working to deadlines and prioritising matters to ensure targets are delivered.
  • Keeping the client regularly updated on the current situation of matters.
  • Maintaining good working relationships with internal colleagues.
  • Being responsible for maximising the firm's profitability whilst maintaining the highest client care standard.
  • Adhering to the firm's policies.
  • Any other duties reasonably required by the business.

  • Experience with Cost Master.
