Location: Southport/ Manchester/ Bolton/ Leeds/ Liverpool/ Hybrid
Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Salary: Β£40,000pa
Please note: This is a fixed-term position. The role is open to external applicants and internal candidates on a secondment basis.
Purpose Of Role
To manage and be part of a small team of nurses who provide an assessment on the merits of a potential case depending on the initial information provided, advise on which medical records and additional documents are required to further determine the case prospects. In addition, the team will also complete a detailed review of the records, pagination, and chronology and give opinion on the merits of the case if requested as part of the product.

Main Responsibilities For The Role
- Managing a small team of nurse analysts to ensure SLAs and input KPIs are met
- Reporting to the Nurse Manager and HoD in respect of team performance
- Completing weekly 1-1s of those in the team as well as yearly performance reviews
- Undertake File Reviews and liaise with the QA to monitor standards
- Identification of any training and development needs within team
- Ability to adapt to a managing role alongside the continuation of the nurse analyst role
- Good understanding of auditing and reporting tools including powerbi
- Promoting and assisting with implementation of evolving AI tools across the team
- Supporting the team positively through periods of change.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Minimum of 3-5 years post-qualification clinical experience in NHS practice / clinical setting
- Minimum of 2 years as a nurse analyst
- Ability to adapt to a managerial role within a fast growing team, including use of auditing and reporting tools
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to drive and support a diverse team in accordance with KPIs
- Ability to manage the team in accordance with HR policies
- Ability to work within a team both remotely and in person
- Be highly motivated, organised, and proactive
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards
- Ability to work efficiently with the QA and Manager
- Positive attitude to change
- Ability to positively deliver constructive feedback and updating of business developments
- Experience lead progression towards completing RA1s.
