4C Strategies is one of the leading independent IT consultancies in the UK public sector. As part of our exciting growth plans, we are looking for an experienced IT Recruitment and Resourcing Consultant to grow our recruitment and resourcing offerings.
In this role you will have the opportunity to develop and manage the recruitment and resourcing side of our business with an initial focus on the recruitment of technical consultants for 4C Strategies and the management of our Associate consultants.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Strategic Planning
- Work with the 4C Management team to identify current and future recruitment and resourcing opportunities both internal and external.
- Produce / implement a recruitment & resourcing strategy to align with 4Cs business objectives.
- Provide monthly reports on progress and plans for the Recruitment & Resourcing workstream.
- Recruitment
- Recruit technical consultants and other roles as required to expand the 4C team.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job specification to offer.
- Work closely with the hiring managers and clients to develop clear and accurate job descriptions.
- Create, implement and maintain a potential candidate database.
- Source candidates using multiple channels, including advertising, LinkedIn, CV databases, referrals and networking.
- Conduct initial candidate screening calls and interviews to assess candidates skills, experience and cultural fit.
- Co-ordinate and manage client interviews and feedback.
- Manage the offer process, including negotiation, documentation and candidate onboarding support.
- Resourcing
- Manage and maintain relationships with 4C Associate Consultants and potential interim professionals.
- Build trusted, long-term relationships to ensure availability and suitability for current and future assignments.
- Actively expand and nurture the 4C Associate Consultant and Interim candidate database, ensuring it includes a diverse range of skilled professionals across technical, leadership and strategic disciplines.
- Regularly update candidate profiles, maintain accurate records of availability and pro-actively engage with potential candidates for upcoming projects and interim opportunities.
- Identify, engage, and manage high-quality candidates for interim and contract roles, such as Interim IT Directors, Programme Managers, and other senior technical or leadership positions.
- Match Associate Consultants and interim candidates to client project requirements, based on skillset, availability and experience.
- Create and regularly use an Associate Consultant / Interim Candidate form to ensure consultant records are compliant with legal and contractual requirements.
- Maintain a clear view of short-term and long-term resourcing needs and proactively build a pipeline of talent accordingly.
- Work closely with internal and client teams to understand interim role requirements and timelines, ensuring rapid and effective placements.
- Marketing
- Collaborate with our Marketing Executive to develop and promote compelling 4C branding content across social media, the 4C website and job platforms.
- Create and manage targeted recruitment campaigns, ensuring job adverts and collateral align with 4Cs brand and effectively attract suitable candidates.
- Support recruitment-focused events, digital campaigns, and performance tracking to enhance candidate engagement and expand 4Cs talent pipeline.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must have:
- At least 3 years proven experience in recruitment, ideally within a consultancy or IT environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple roles and deadlines concurrently.
- Experience in candidate sourcing and screening techniques.
- Knowledge of employment legislation and recruitment best practices.
- Experience managing contractor/associate relationships is desirable.
- Be organised and able to follow the processes, particularly those relevant to our ISO standards.
- Be self-confident with a strong ability to work alone and achieve results.
What 4C Strategies can offer you:
- OTE of up-to £50,000 (£30,000 basic salary + results based commission), subject to experience.
