The Opportunity
We are looking for a very well organized and detail-orientated individual to join our team. The individual will manage incoming orders and prepare to ship to our network of customers within the UK and Channel Islands. They will work closely with both the Head of Operations and Quality Assurance & Compliance Manager to ensure all documentation is checked and processed in a timely fashion. They will liaise with the 3PL Contract Storage Site to organise stock receipt, order fulfilment and dispatch. They will also become responsible for managing inventory and stock control. The individual will need to be proficient in data base management.
The ideal candidate will be well organised, have great attention to detail and be methodical in their actions. They will be a quick learner and able to manage complex paperwork and input information accurately into computer systems to maintain records. They will be an adaptable and confident self-starter looking for an opportunity to grow in your role as our company does.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming orders from customers.
- Check all orders for accuracy.
- Complete due diligence checks with relevant databases to validate requests from prescribers, pharmacies, wholesalers and pharmacists.
- Process orders and log all data on internal systems to manage stock control and meet regulatory demands.
- Liaise with 3PL Contract Storage Sites to arrange processing and shipment of orders.
- Accurate filing of order documents.
- Arrange and manage courier services to deliver products in a timely fashion.
- Manage databases of customers, orders and inventory.
- Complete reconciliations of databases and controlled drug registers.
- Manage customer expectations on timelines and delivery.
- Request and file PODs.
- Customer onboarding and due diligence.
Skills/Experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Some background in Customer Service would be an advantage.
- Demonstrate great attention to detail.
- Very process orientated with strong logical mindset.
- Computer literate, comfortable with Microsoft and Google packages and database management.
- Some background in pharmaceuticals and or life sciences would be an advantage.
- Working to Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards is preferred but not essential, training will be provided.
- Ideally some experience with inventory management and logistics/shipping.
- Being able to operate as an individual but also work well as part of the team.
- Comfortable working in the dynamic and changing environment.
- A proactive and resourceful team player.
- Enthusiasm to learn about medicinal cannabis, this is an entry level role and training will be provided.
