Overview
The Westin London City Spa Therapist role (4 to 5 days) is based at The Westin London City, 60 Upper Thames Street, London (Central), London, EC4V 3AD. The property offers wellness-focused hospitality with 225 guest rooms, suites and residences and a commitment to guest well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide massage services to guests using props and/or products.
- Provide body treatments to guests using body scrubs, wraps, and/or hydrotherapy.
- Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications (e.g., allergies, high blood pressure, and pregnancy) before beginning service.
- Arrange workstation, treatment room, and/or drapes.
- Frequently check with guest to promote comfort, safety and security throughout service.
- Promote and sell spa/salon services including retail offerings related to the Spa.
- Handle inappropriate guest behaviour by following Marriott International standard operating procedures for inappropriate conduct for guests and therapists, leading up to and including stopping a treatment or service and informing supervisor/manager.

- Is passionate about beauty and the wellness industry.
- Will carry out an in-depth consultation with each client prior to treatment, ensuring medical history and concerns are identified.
- Will perform all treatments to an exceptional standard, as per Heavenly SPA protocols and standards taught in training, whilst tailoring to the client’s specific needs.
- Keeps up to date with current techniques and modalities related to their field of work.
- Has a positive attitude, and is flexible and adaptable to different working shift patterns and conditions.
- Preferably has two years or more experience in a similar role within a spa environment.
