4C Executive Placement are working with a dynamic and fast growing business to appoint a Finance Director into a newly created role. This business is a market disruptor, seeking to redefine the delivery of services to customers, and provide a strong and credible alternative within an established market sector. It has grown rapidly and has plans to continue growth both within Northern Ireland and into other geographies in the coming years.
To support this sustainable growth, the business is seeking a Finance Director who will have a critical role in leading the business as it scales. Working closely with the CEO, shareholders and the wider leadership team, the role holder will embed robust governance, provide clear strategic financial insight, and ensure strong cash discipline, forecasting accuracy and operational controls.
This role requires a visible leader and strategic thinker, someone with an independent mind who can constructively challenge; an individual with strong commercial acumen, integrity and the ability to operate effectively in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.
Additionally, the individual will have the following skills and experience:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Significant experience operating as a senior member of a finance team, contributing to both strategic and operational decision-making.
- Background in high-growth or scale-up environment, with a track record of building or strengthening finance functions and designing scalable processes, systems and controls.
- Strong capability in cashflow forecasting, working capital optimization and long-term financial planning.
- Proven experience producing clear, accurate financial reporting, board packs and commercial insights for senior stakeholders, with the ability to interpret data to drive operational and strategic decisions.
