To support the facilities team in looking after our premises, coordinating maintenance activities and maintaining compliance with the required Health & Safety and Good Manufacturing Practice regulations. Some driving between sites in a company vehicle is a necessary part of the role (Over to Swavesey, 5 miles).
Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate internal yearly / monthly / weekly checks, including but not limited to:
- Weekly fire alarm checks
- CCTV checks
- Pest control monitoring
- Generator checks and test runs
- PAT testing
- Racking inspections
- Hot and cold water tap checks
- Emergency lighting test
- Emergency exit checks
- Basic facilities maintenance and repair
- Monitor, replenish and re-order refreshments in a timely manner across the three company buildings
- Purchase new office equipment
- Order miscellaneous office consumables and computer peripherals
- Fire and intruder alarm servicing
- Door access control
- Emergency lighting servicing
- Air conditioning and HVAC servicing and preventative maintenance
- Facilities cleaning
- Cold room maintenance
- Five year electrical testing
- Boiler servicing
- Fire extinguisher expiration and servicing
- Building Management System (BMS) servicing
- Gutter cleaning
- Ladder inspections

- Roller shutter servicing

Person Specification:
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain accurate logs / basic records.
- Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Capability in creating new templates for lists and action logs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable telephoning and coordinating actions with external contractors.
- Willingness to learn and take instruction; training will be provided wherever necessary.
- Team player with a can-do attitude.
- Must hold a full clean driver’s licence.
- Must hold the right to work in the UK.
