Salary £30,886 - £33,500 per year with overtime after training and probation period. During 6–8 weeks of fully paid training you will earn £13.19 per hour. Upon completion of training you can expect annual earnings of £31,333 based on 39 hours per week as a qualified Bus Driver.
You will work at our Hull Depot, driving a fleet of 120 buses that serve Hull, Beverley, Cottingham and surrounding areas. You will gain your PCV licence as part of a Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship and will have the opportunity to progress into roles such as Inspector, Controller or Instructor.
Responsibilities- Complete industry-leading training, secure a PCV licence and pursue ongoing CPC training as part of a Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship.
- Operate the fleet safely, smoothly and confidently on a rolling rota basis.
- Ensure every customer has a great journey and receives top-notch customer service.
- Create a welcoming environment where customers feel respected and cared for, especially those who rely on us most.
- Work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
- 18 years old with a full UK driving licence and no more than six penalty points.
- Right to work in the UK and be ordinarily resident for the last three years (or meet alternative criteria).
