Salary: £29,900 after the initial training period. Pay rate during training: £13.50 per hour (training lasts 6–8 weeks). Annual earnings of £29,919 following completion of training based on 39 hours per week as a qualified bus driver. Shift patterns include early, middle and late shifts, with weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis. Earn while you learn – we provide fully paid training to help you gain your PCV licence and a Level 2 Apprenticeship Qualification.
Responsibilities:
- Complete industry‑leading training, secure your PCV licence, and undertake ongoing CPC training and professional development as part of the Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship.
- Drive the fleet safely, smoothly, and confidently.
- Ensure every customer enjoys a great journey by delivering top‑notch customer service.
- Create a welcoming environment where customers feel respected, cared for, and looked after, especially those who rely on us most.
- Work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Be 18 years old or older.
- Hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Right to work in the UK with the required residency status.
- Patient, safe, and courteous approach to driving and customer interaction.
- Positive, friendly attitude and passion for delivering exceptional customer experience.
