Stagecoach is seeking bus drivers for our Holbrook Depot located at Rother Valley Way, Holbrook, S20 3RW.

Salary and Training

  • £14.10 per hour during 6–8 weeks of paid training.
  • Training raises the rate to £14.60 per hour immediately after training completion.
  • In year two the hourly rate increases to £15.10, with additional enhanced evening rates available.

Responsibilities

  • Complete industry‑leading training, secure a PCV licence and continue with CPC training and professional development as part of the Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship.
  • Operate Stagecoach’s fleet safely, smoothly, and with confidence.
  • Ensure every customer has a great journey and deliver top‑notch customer service.
  • Foster a welcoming environment for passengers of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age 18 years.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
  • Right to work in the UK and have ordinarily resided in the UK or British overseas territories for the last three years.
  • Positive, friendly attitude and passion for outstanding customer service.
  • Willingness to learn, be patient, safe‑conscious and courteous.
