Salary: up to £35,000 p.a. based on experience.
Location: Stagecoach Yorkshire Head Office, Unit 4 Eldon Arcade, Barnsley, South Yorkshire, S70 2JP.
Responsibilities:
- Produce optimised timetables and driver duties using AVL data and the Optibus scheduling system.
- Ensure timetables meet contractual requirements and legal and agreed operational parameters.
- Maintain or improve current operational efficiencies.
- Liaise directly with local depot staff and trade unions.
- Collaborate on other commercial function areas such as ticket machines, data analysis/reporting and franchise bidding.
Qualifications:
- Computer literate and adaptable to new systems.
- Flexible approach to work with the ability to keep accurate records under tight deadlines.
- Commitment to public transport and ability to work effectively within a small team.
- Experience with Optibus is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided.
