Stagecoach is looking for qualified coach drivers to operate National Express services from our Chesterfield depot.

Salary & Hours

  • £29,700 annual base salary plus overtime: £15.08 Monday-Friday, £15.80 Saturdays, £16.44 Sundays.
  • Guaranteed 38 minimum hours each week with options to increase earnings through overtime.
  • Holiday entitlement: 20 days + 8 Bank Holidays (years 1-2); 22 days + 8 Bank Holidays (years 3-5); 25 days + 8 Bank Holidays (5+ years).
  • Uniform provided (£1,200 joining bonus).
  • Free travel on National Express services and Stagecoach bus services for you and a companion.

Responsibilities

  • Operate National Express coach services safely and punctually while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Maintain a courteous and patient approach, adhering to all route and safety standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Valid PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) licence.
  • No more than 6 penalty points on your licence.
  • Commitment to safe, patient, and courteous driving.
  • Desire to deliver outstanding customer service.
